Obviously, the best part about being a Utah restaurant photographer is eating the yummy food I photograph! Recently I photographed some beautiful pastries for Sweetly Divine, the cutest local cafe in Logan, Utah. Mark Grodkowski, owner of Sweetly Divine, is an incredibly talented pastry chef. The pastries he asked me to shoot both appeared and tasted amazing. From the fluffier-than-air cream puff with the most delicate chocolate swan garnish, to the intricately layered raspberry Napoleon, each of these Sweetly Divine pastries and desserts delighted the taste buds.

Sweetly Divine Pastries and Desserts

Sweetly Divine has been a beloved restaurant in Cache Valley for several years. I was sad to learn after delivering these images to Mark that his landlord didn’t renew his lease. Unfortunately, the Sweetly Divine cafe closes in May 2021. However, Sweetly Divine will continue to sell their freezer jams and jellies online through their website. But Cache Valley foodies have only a few more weeks to enjoy Sweetly Divine‘s pastries, desserts, sandwiches and soups. If you’re in the Logan area, make sure to stop in over the next few weeks and support this local family business! I’m crossing my fingers and hoping that one day, things will work out for Mark and his family to reopen Sweetly Divine. Hopefully it can reopen as the unique and delicious sit-down cafe that so many of us have enjoyed here in Cache Valley for many years.
