Utah Lifestyle Photographer | Newborn Mini Session
I’m in Utah visiting family, and it is so fun to spend time with loved ones that we haven’t seen in months! One of the highlights of visiting Utah right now is getting to snuggle some cute new babies that have joined our families recently! My little girl now has two new baby cousins and she has been in heaven getting to hold and cuddle these little babies, and so have I! It’s so much fun to see our families grow and expand, and I love seeing what loving, attentive parents James and Claire are as they care for sweet baby L. Recently we were visiting at my aunt’s house for Sunday dinner and my brother and his little family were there, so naturally we had to have a little impromptu photo session to capture cute baby L and his parents during this all too fleeting newborn stage.
Along with taking some family pictures of baby L with his sweet mom and dad, we wanted to document L while he still fit in some of his special newborn outfits. The cute little white suit is his baby blessing outfit that my mom sewed for him, isn’t it adorable? And the Simba onesie was an outfit my brother wore as a baby. The Lion King came out the year before James was born, and my sister and I were obsessed with the movie. Anytime someone asked us what our new baby brother would be named, we replied “Simba!” So it was quite fitting for James to wear a Simba outfit as a baby. Rachelle and I had Simba dresses to coordinate, so of course we had to get a picture of my little G and baby L rocking their 1990’s Lion King swag together! I love how these photos turned out, and I love this cute boy! I’m excited to see him and G play together as they grow older!
