Tempe Town Lake Family Pictures

I am so excited to share these family pictures taken at Tempe Town Lake with you all!  It was my first time shooting at this location, and I couldn’t have found a more beautiful family to help me test it out!  Alden is my cousin, and he and his wife Katie and their baby boy C live on the other side of the Phoenix valley from me and my family.  It’s about a half hour drive for either of us to visit the other but we make it happen every so often, it’s so fun to get together with them!  I have lots of memories of playing with Alden and his siblings at my grandparents’ house when my family would come visit his hometown five hours away from where I grew up, and I remember being in the same class at church with Katie’s younger sister whenever we attended church there.  It’s so much fun living close to these guys as we’ve each started our little families.  I so enjoyed taking their pictures at Tempe Town Lake a couple weeks ago.  Are they not the most photogenic family you’ve ever seen?  I couldn’t believe all the smiles we got out of cute baby C, and I just love the way these photos show how much joy he brings to his parents!  Also, that just-before-sunset light was so yummy that evening and it was so fun to explore a location that’s a little different from where I normally shoot, I can’t wait for the next time I get to shoot at Tempe Town Lake!
