Bradford and Wendy’s wedding day was beautiful! Even though in the weeks beforehand, they had to deal with switching from Plan A to Plan B to Plan C, it all worked out and was such a wonderful wedding day. The wedding planning roller coaster ride included the ever-changing COVID-19 situation and social distancing, temples closing, postponing large reception plans, making plans for a simple backyard ceremony, waiting to find out return dates for missionary siblings who were temporarily home, and changing the wedding date to make the scheduling work. It must have been so stressful for them, but I really admire the way Wendy and Bradford stayed optimistic and hopeful throughout the process and remained focused on what mattered most to them: becoming husband and wife, and (whether on the same day or not) being sealed in the temple for time and all eternity. They were so excited when they found out a week or two beforehand that some temples in Utah would be opening up, so that they could be married and sealed in the temple on their wedding day! After a lovely temple ceremony at the Jordan River Utah Temple with a few close family members, we were able to take pictures on the temple grounds for 15 minutes or so before heading back to Wendy’s parents’ home for a small reception. Bradford and Wendy were glowing with happiness all day, and I think my favorite part of the day was being able to see the love my brother has for his bride just beaming from his eyes whenever he looked at her. I’m so thrilled for Wendy and Bradford, they are a match made in heaven and it was truly such a joy to capture this special day for them!
