Gilbert Family Photographer | Riparian Preserve Family Pictures
The Riparian Preserve is known for being a Gilbert family photographer hotspot, literally everywhere you turn you will see family photo sessions happening right and left! And it makes sense, because it’s one of the only nice outdoor nature-filled locations in the area that doesn’t require a 30+ minute drive out to the open desert. So for photographers at the Riparian Preserve, the challenge is to take pictures without having lots of people in the background! That’s why I like to go off the beaten path a bit at the Riparian Preserve, and in exploring the trails I’ve found some hidden gems of spaces in the preserve that make for beautiful pictures without being super crowded!
The Riparian Preserve was the perfect setting for family pictures of this darling little family! Rachel, Kirby and their cute kids moved into our old apartment complex a few months before we moved to a different one, so I loved getting to see them again and take their family portraits! Kirby and Rachel met when they were both serving missions for the LDS Church in Russia. After returning home from their missions, they reconnected and fell in love and the rest is history. Now they have two darling kids, a sweet little girl and cute baby boy. Lots of laughter and joy exuded from this whole family and I just loved getting to witness the love that they share and how happy they are together. The sunlight was so pretty at the time of our session and I felt like the pretty glowy light highlighted that joy beautifully!
Sidenote: if you’ve noticed that lots of yummy Crumbl cookie shops have been popping up all over the place around here, you can thank these guys!! Kirby works for Crumbl and has been responsible for getting each new location ready to open for business. The most recent Crumbl location to open had a grand opening a few days ago and it’s like 5 minutes away from my home so I’m pretty excited about that! Their chocolate chip cookies are my favorite!!
