Family Pictures on USU Campus | Logan UT Photographer
I am so excited to share these family pictures I took on USU campus during my visit home to Logan, Utah! I was excited that they chose the campus on Utah State University for the location of their family pictures, as USU is my alma mater and has such a beautiful, historic campus. USU also has significance for this family as dad works there, mom is pursuing her graduate degree there, and their daughter is an undergrad USU student. I have known this family for a long time, they moved into my family’s neighborhood when their kids were much younger, and I babysat these two awesome kids back in the day. It was amazing to see those kids all grown up–now in college and a senior in high school!
We met at Old Main early in the morning for a sunrise photoshoot. As I stepped out of my car at 6:45 am, memories came flooding back as soon as I felt that brisk breeze blowing in from Logan Canyon. Living in Arizona for the past two and a half years made me forget that even though it was still August, a jacket is a good idea if you’re walking around USU campus early in the morning! But even though it was a little chilly, sunrise was the perfect time to catch the beautiful early morning sunlight. I loved catching up with this family and hearing about what’s going on in their lives now as we took pictures of their whole family together–including their adorable dog–along with individual pictures of the kids and pictures of the parents as a couple. USU campus has many beautiful locations for photos, and I love the way the brick building of Old Main along with grassy areas of the Quad and the pathway lined by pine trees nearby added to the fall-is-just-around-the-corner feeling that these photos evoke. I had so much fun spending time with this family, laughing and talking with them while capturing this season of their life. This family is one of the best and I’m so honored to have had the opportunity to take their pictures!
